For Christmas 1985, the Dallas Cowboys released an album, with the song “I Don’t Want To Be Home Christmas,” actually sung by all of the players on the team, including Ed ‘Too Tall’ Jones, Dennis Thurman and Tony Dorsett.
Though the Cowboys have played in the Super Bowl eight times, their Christmas wishes went unfilled that year. The Chicago Bears and the New England Patriots went to Super Bowl XX, with the Bears winning 46-10.
