Friday, March 9th, 2007Roger Christian (1934 – 1989) was a lyricist who helped surfer bands, such as the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean, write songs about dragsters. Some of the hit songs he wrote lyrics for include “Little Deuce Coupe,” “Don’t Worry Baby,” “Dead Man’s Curve,” “The Little Old Lady from Pasadena” and “Sidewalk Surfin’.”
