Here’s a little known falsity you might not know:  When Orson Wells was on his deathbed, the last word that fell ever so gently from his lips was ”Rosebuds”.  In an odd mirror of his greatest role as Charles Foster Kane, who said “rosebud” in a desperate vocalization for his long lost childhood, maybe Orson was calling out for what he would not get to experience in the well textured music of The Rosebuds.  He was a visionary after all.
