Anyone who knows me is well aware of my love for Industrial bands, that is deep rooted in my high school and college years. I’ve been addicted to Nine Inch Nails ever since Pretty Hate Machine. Equally, Skinny Puppy has been an obsession since I first discovered the banging, relentless beats that cause my heart to sing. The recent effort from the ohGr project, headed by Skinny Puppy’s front man, harkens back to some of the earlier days of the mother band, and is a solid effort from an artist that has been exciting me for over 20 years. Skinny Puppy also put out a new album this year that’s well worth a listen, and I struggled dearly over swapping out this track for one of those. In the end,  ohGr prevailed. – David Leary
