My New Bed

I am really excited because I got a new bed! We haven’t put it together yet, but that’s OK because we don’t have a mattress for it yet, either. I have a nice new mattress coming soon, that my Grandma Jo & her husband Don ordered for me. The bed is a yellow, red and blue raised platform bed with an area for a cool fort underneath. We are not going to put the slide on because we don’t have enough room, and I don’t really want it on there anyway. If I want to slide down a slide I’ll go to a PlayPlace or playground.

Dr. Seuss Books
January 4th, 2007Today my dad and I went to Barnes & Noble, and used some gift cards I got for Christmas, to buy 3 Dr. Seuss books. They had a sale - buy 2 get one free! The books I got were: The Lorax, The Butter Battle Book and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I read The Lorax and The Butter Battle Book by myself, and I plan on reading The Grinch later. I already had a lot of other Dr. Seuss books that I enjoy reading, so it was nice to get a few more new ones.

Happy New Year
January 1st, 2007I hope you all had a good new year. We had lots of fun and had a party with lots of food. We had puff pastries and I made a mexican one with beans and cheese, and my dad made a cheese one with cheddar and parmesan. We also had mini peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and lots of different kinds of crackers and cheese. I was too tired to stay up until midnight.
My New Years resolutions are: I am going to try to be less sassy, I am going to try to eat healthier, I am going to be nice to Maisy and Baxter (my cat and bunny), and I am also going to make more challenging choices at school.
